I’m a bored science nerd, so I have spent the last couple of minutes analyzing his calculations etc. It looks like he did some kind of acid test with sulfuric acid, then did a water of crystallization test, but wrong; there can’t be any Hydrogen on the left hand side. Also C17H2NO4 refers to some hallucinogenic drugs, including Cocaine. I like the fact that the props people or whoever would have written those equations actually did their research.

I saw this but I had no idea why he was doing tests with H2SO4? That stuff… will kill you. I get everything else, I just don’t understand why he did a test with H2SO4. Not that the question is eating away at my mind or anything, it’s not too big of a deal. I just find it interesting.
